Peer Sorensen has been making wooding chopping boards for over 40 years. Founded in 1981, originally these boards were made from previous Tasmanian hardwoods. With the change of times, and to minimise the impact on the environment, the boards are now made from relatively fast-growing hardwoods and bamboo. Peer Sorensen boards are extremely hardy and require relatively low maintenance. The dense fibers keep water out so they are less likely to warp or crack like other woods, the bamboo exhibits antibacterial properties. Peer Sorensen,
