28cm Silicone Spill Stopper

Prevent pots from boiling over and causing mess around the stove top with the Avanti® Spill Guard. It’s ideal to use when boiling pasta, starch based foods, dairy products and other dishes. Easy to use, the guard prevents any water from boiling over the sides of the pot or pan. Just cover pot with the Spill Guard until cooking is complete. Made from heavy food grade silicone that is heat resistant up to 230°C, it is flexible and features Cool Touch Technology. The surface does not affect the flavour of food or leave behind any taste or odour. It can also be used for steaming vegetables, as a splatter guard or microwave cover. Makes an excellent addition to any kitchen arsenal!

Use & Care

• Make sure the clear hard plastic cap with knob is locked in place on the silicone Spill Guard
• Ensure Spill Guard is at least 2cm larger than the pot.
• Do not overfill pot.
• Using the handles, place Spill Guard on the pot face up. Note: Make sure the silicone is in a concave position with patterned side facing upwards.
• Leave on the pot until cooking is done.
• When removing allow any excess water in the middle to drain. Use pot holders to remove the guard and watch out for hot steam!
